founder, Fevzi Uslu, began his professional journey as a paint craftsman in 1970 and took his first step into commerce by opening a small 15 m² hardware store. Thanks to his determination and skills, the business gradually grew and reached a significant position in the wholesale paint market.
Development in the 1980s
With the growth of the carpet industry in Gaziantep during the 1980s, the company began supplying latex (adhesive) products required by the sector. In addition, by becoming a Marshall Paint dealer, its activities expanded across the construction, carpet, and textile industries.
1982 — Family Involvement
In 1982, Bülent and Beyhan Uslu joined the business, and the company rapidly increased its product supply to the paint, carpet, and textile sectors throughout the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions.
2000 — Corporate Transformation
By the year 2000, the business had undergone corporate restructuring and continued its commercial activities under the name Gaziantep Güven Boya.
2005 and Beyond
In 2005, the company began importing certain products for the furniture, leather, and construction sectors, marking its entry into export and import activities. As of 2006, it also started supplying the carpet industry with polyester yarn (FDY, DTY, POY).
Polyester Yarn Production
Using dope-dyed raw materials and a custom color palette consisting of hundreds of colors—34 of which are standard—FDY, DTY, POY, 3D shaggy, textured, micro polyester, metallic, and melange yarns are produced in integrated facilities.
2015 — Establishment of Uslu Group
As of 2015, Uslu Group began operating in the construction, carpet, textile, and furniture sectors through three companies, and increased its R&D efforts by establishing yarn production and twisting facilities.
2024 — New Investment
In 2024, Kristal Mensucat joined the group, and a major investment was made in a large-scale yarn production facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
