Purpose
As Kristal Mensucat San. ve Tic. A.Ş., we are a large-scale polyester yarn manufacturer operating in the Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone. We are aware of the environmental impacts of our activities. In this regard, our primary objective is to ensure the efficient use of natural resources, develop environmentally responsible production processes, and reduce our adverse environmental impacts in line with sustainable production principles.
Through this policy, based on the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System standards, we aim to establish a systematic structure for environmental awareness in all our processes, continuously improve our environmental performance, and contribute to sustainable development.
Scope
This environmental policy covers;
- Our existing polyester yarn production facility and future investments,
- All employees of Kristal Mensucat,
- All stakeholders of Kristal Mensucat, including suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and personnel involved through agreements with other organizations.
Our Policy and Commitments
Compliance with Legal Standards
We fully comply with all applicable national environmental legislation and relevant international standards such as ISO 14001 and GRS (Global Recycled Standard).
Continuous Improvement
We effectively implement the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and aim to continuously improve our system by regularly reviewing our environmental performance.
Waste Management and Resource Efficiency
We aim to minimize waste generated during production processes and optimize the use of raw materials and natural resources.
Energy Efficiency
We prioritize energy conservation and reduce our energy consumption by using high-efficiency equipment and processes.
Recycling and Disposal
We cooperate with licensed companies to ensure that all waste generated in our operations is disposed of in compliance with applicable regulations. Whenever possible, we contribute to recycling efforts. Temporary storage areas for hazardous and non-hazardous waste are constructed in full compliance with legal requirements to prevent environmental pollution caused by leakage.
Employee Participation and Training
We provide regular training to raise environmental awareness among our employees and encourage their active participation in developing environmentally responsible practices.

We allocate the necessary resources and budget to ensure the effective implementation and sustainability of our environmental management system.
